Software is a program and designed by the software engineers using one or more Computer languages. Software is a collection of instruction.

There are two categories of software’s

They are

System Software

System software designed to operate and control the computer hardware and provide platforms for application software .

Examples of system software

• Windows 8
• Linux

Application Software

If a user wants to do some work using a computer, user needs suitable application software.

Examples of application software

• MS word
• MS Excel

Central Processing Unit (CPU) 

The Central Processing Unit is the brain of Computer. Known as a microprocessor. CPU is complex integrated circuit made of silicone. It is consist of lot of micro chips . A computer CPU is responsible for handling  all instructions, It receives from hardware and software running on the computer.  The CPU understands Electronic functions, accepts input data and possesses  to information . The main hardware parts of computer like RAM, Mother Board, VGA card, Net Work card ,Sound card  are working with the CPU. Before We use the New computer we should connect Monitor,Key board, Mouse, Printers , and other devices with  the  CPU.
